So it has been about a month (April 2012) on Instagram and I am still having mixed feelings! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the app. From the easiest to use filters to how, for some reason, it makes my iPhone freeze the frame that much quicker. But here are my three beefs:
1. I think is had made me a lazy photographer: the majority of these photos are pretty memorable. For example, the latter half of April I spent in California and to date I haven’t even touched my point and shoot and DSLR photos. Enough said.
2. Battery Hog: easily down to 10% by the time 6pm hits.
3. Awesome photos but not great for print. Obviously! I guess if that were the case why the heck would we need SLRs?
Anyways, all complaints aside; I do have a pretty cool collection of things that happened in April. Perhaps convenience is good. Now I have a picture time-line. Wanna follow me, search DPWYF.
